You will receive your proof by email within 3 days of ordering. Have a look, then either approve it or reply telling us what you would like changed.
Nothing goes into production until you have approved it, so take your time.
Asking for changes
Revisions are unlimited before anything is stitched, and we answer them within 48 hours. Nothing is final until you say so.
Each round of changes does add a day or two to your overall timeline, which is worth knowing if you are working to a date.
The coloured background
Your proof will have a coloured background behind the design, often pink. This is not the colour of your item. It is just the standard backdrop we use to display artwork.
Your item will be made in the colour you chose at checkout.
If your proof link will not open
Occasionally the approval page does not load properly. If that happens, email us at hello@lucyandlolashop.com with your order number and we will send your proof across directly, so you can review it and reply with any changes.
It helps if you tell us what you saw, whether that was a blank page, an error message, or something that was not your design.
If your proof shows as rejected
If our team has asked you a question about your order, your proof may temporarily show as rejected while we wait for your answer. This does not mean anything is wrong with your design. It is simply how the system records a reply, and your order carries on as soon as we have what we need.
Your digital download
If your order comes to over £50, a digital copy of your portrait is included free.
It is emailed to you automatically the moment you approve your design, so it arrives in the same email thread as your approval confirmation.
If you cannot see it, check your spam or junk folder first, as it sometimes lands there. If it is still not there, email us and we will send it across.
